Jeremy Moody

content-profile-sunstar-moodyJeremy Moody took a first responder course after seeing many of his construction co-workers needing medical attention from injuries on the job.

Moody became a paramedic/field training officer in 1990. He is also a registered nurse and has a background in architectural technology.

Moody received the Pinellas County Paramedic of the Year award in 2011 and Bayflite Nurse’s Hook and Ladder Award in 2012.

He says the key to success of a good call is to allow loved ones to ride with the patient to keep them calm. Moody says a good paramedic is always learning, sharing knowledge and a detective, who is prompt, fast and thorough.

In his free time, he enjoys to sail, kayak, swim and spend time with his family and friends and pack of dogs.

He enjoys working at Sunstar as they allow you to give them feedback on areas they need to improve on.
