Kimberly Lacina is the Director of Clinical Services for Paramedics Plus in Alameda County. Kimberly has worked for Paramedics Plus since February 2002 when she joined the Critical Care Transport Team as a registered nurse in Pinellas County. She has held the positions of CCT Coordinator and Special Services Supervisor and Director of Clinical Services in Florida prior to taking the role as Director of Clinical Services in Alameda in 2016.

Kimberly holds a Master’s degree in Nursing and is a certified Family/Adult Advanced Practice Registered Nurse as well as a certified paramedic. In addition to her work in Emergency and Pre-hospital medicine, she is an adjunct faculty/CME Instructor at St. Petersburg College.

Kimberly has also presented at various national conferences and served on the Air and Surface Transport Nurse’s Board of Directors. She participated as a site surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Services. In 2007, she was recognized as the State of Florida “EMS Nurse” of the year.
